Mizuki Sugiyama is a singer-songwriter who took the stage at 『Kitakyushu Rock Festival 2022』, a long-sought-after event. Her momentum seems to be only increasing, and this time she will be landing in Hokuriku for a 「#Toyama and Ishikawa 3DAYS」 live performance from June 9 to 11.

An unbelievable performance by a 「little singer-songwriter」
Mizuki Sugiyama, a native of Kurate Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, is based in Kitakyushu City and Fukuoka City. She taught herself to play the guitar when she was in the second year of junior high school, and then she got into storytelling, winning a university singing contest two years in a row; in 2015, she was asked to perform at the 『Gyobashi Sakura Smile Festa』 on short notice and went on stage to perform her storytelling with Fumi Saito (a popular Fukuoka TV personality) hosting the event.
In August 2017, they released their first single 『Rararachisu / Kochochocho』 and in November of the same year, they won the Grand Prix at the 「KITAQ MUSIC BATTLE」. Last year, they won the audition 「Kita Kyushu Survive!」 and performed at 『Kita Kyushu Rock Festival 2022』 held on Saturday, September 24.
This rock festival was led by Shigeru Izumiya and featured eminent members from veterans such as 175R and Original Love to Momoiro Clover Z, DISH//, Chisato Moritaka, 7ORDER, Golden Bomber, and Tetsu Okazaki. It was amazing because they stood on the same stage.
His catchphrase is 「a little singer-songwriter with a height of 150 cm」, but his powerful voice does not seem to fit in Kyushu, and he has spread his influence to Honshu and even to Hokuriku.
