Three-piece rock band Uchikubigokumondokokai will come to Kanazawa again this year. Not only will they be performing at the 『Hyakumangoku Music Festival 2024 – Million Rock Festival』, but they will also be holding their 20th anniversary tour 『20!+39!=59! TOU』 in Ishikawa at the 「Kanazawa Eighthall」.
Looking forward to the music on the new album
Uchikubigokumondokokai consists of Atsushi Osawa (Vo. & Gt.), Asuka Kawamoto (Dr. & Vo.), and Junko (Ba. & Vo.). 2024 will mark the 20th anniversary of their formation.
The new album 『Bochibochi Veteran』 was released on January 3 and contains 7 new songs including 「Shufunomichi」, 「Where did the kangaroo go?」, 「Don’t put up a death flag」, 「A sober life -SAMBA MAX EDITION-」 and 「Why the weather is bad today」 by remastering.
At 『METROCK TOKYO』 held in May, the lead song of the album, 「How’s Puccho, Mr. Director?」 which is also the lead song of the album.
「How’s Puccho, Mr. Director?」 is an unofficial collaboration song about UHA Ajigakusei Sugar’s “Pucho”. A music video is also available.
Uchikubi has something to do with Kanazawa.
Utsukushigokumon Dokokai will be performing at the music festival 『Hyakumangoku Music Festival 2024 – Million Rock Festival』 to be held at the Ishikawa Industrial Exhibition Hall on June 1 (Sat) and 2 (Sun), and at the Hakusan ARENA (Hall 4) on June 2 (Sun).
The 「Million Rock Fest」 is coming up soon, and after that, they will be hitting Ishikawa in the fall for their 『20!+39!=59! TOU』 47-prefecture tour, with a concert scheduled for October 2 (Wed) at the Kanazawa EIGHTHALL.
If Uchikubi makes a guest appearance at Kyuso Nekokami’s 『TAIMAN TOUR 2019』 at Eighthall in May 2019, he will appear on Sambo Master’s two-man tour at Eighthall on November 3 of the same year. On November 24, the Ishikawa leg of the Gokushijugo Tour was also held at EIGHTHALL.
In addition, in September 2022, Backdrop Cinderella was a guest performer in the 『Uchikubigokumondokokai: The New Coronavirus Hates Tour 2022』 held at the Eighthall.
I may have missed something else. Anyway, it seems that Uchikubigokumondokokai is a good match for Kanazawa Eighthall.
