『Blunt Color Chocolaville Biennale』, a film shot entirely on location in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, will finally be released in theaters. Starring in the film is Ishikawa-born actress Noa Nakada. She played the role of Hikari Midou, the daughter in 『My Daddy』 (released in September 2021), a film starring Murotsuyoshi. In addition to Noa Nakata, who plays the main character, this year’s film will be enlivened by an unexpected cast of AKB48 members and comedians.

The film 『Blunt Color Chocolaville Biennale』 is based on the original story by director Masaaki Kanamori and directed by a megaphone, and depicts a story that unravels the 「Kanazawa chocolate culture」 in Kanazawa, the city of chocolate.
Synopsis: The main character, Shiori Kibikino (Noa Nakata), became an intern at a publishing company because she wanted to do interviews, but struggled when the editor-in-chief asked her to write a feature article for a magazine on the theme of 「chocolate x art」. Despite her troubles, she gets hints on how to write the article while covering art museums and Japanese and Western confectionery stores.
The variety of cast members is a highlight
The cast includes former top star of the Takarazuka Revue’s Tsuki class and actress Nao Saiki, renowned bipolar player Hajime Oyama, who has appeared in several NHK Taiga dramas and TV series, and Amisa Miyazaki, a member of the idol group Mystear.
Moreover, Haruka Komiyama and Ayana Shinozaki from AKB48 and comedian Kazuhiro Yasuda (Dangerous) also appear in the film, and it will be fun to find out what roles the varied cast members play.
