『Pokémon x Kogei: A Discovery of Beauty and Craftsmanship』, an exhibition of works by living national treasures and up-and-coming artists expressing Pokémon in innovative ways, is being held at the National Kogei Museum until June 11 (Sun.).
Since the venue is the National Arts and Crafts Museum in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Pokemon lovers across Japan were already tweeting 「I want to go but it’s too far away」 and 「I wish the traveling exhibition would be held here, too」 before the March 21 opening.

TV programs featured one after another
Recently, Ryogo Matsumaru, a mystery-solving creator who professes to be a Pokémon enthusiast, visited the 『Pokémon x Crafts』 exhibition on NHKE Television’s 「Sunday Museum of Art」 to enjoy the 「Pikachu Forest」 and other artworks.

On the other hand, actress Yuika Motokariya will visit the exhibition site and introduce the 『Pokemon x Crafts』 exhibition on 『New Beauty Giants』 (TV Tokyo) on Saturday, May 6 at 10 pm.

There is good news not only for Pokemon lovers but also for Ryogo Matsumaru fans.
NHK E-television Sunday Museum of Art 『Pokemon Crafting Daisakusen!』 will be available on 「NHK+」 until May 6 if you register in advance.
According to the official NHK E-television website, the program will be rebroadcast on 「NHK E-television 1, Tokyo」 on Sunday, May 7 at 8:00 p.m., so don’t miss it.
