Contents of the 7th Special Exhibition

Katsuhiro Otomo revolutionized the manga and animation worlds with his manga 『AKIRA』 and other works with a realistic touch and meticulously detailed drawings, which have been called 「before Otomo and after Otomo」.

『Metropolis』 is an animated film adaptation of Osamu Tezuka’s original manga 『Metropolis』 that was released theatrically in 2001. The screenplay was written by Katsuhiro Otomo.

『Tekkonkinkreet』 is an animated film adaptation of a popular manga by Taiyo Matsumoto, which was released in theaters in December 2006. The main character Black is voiced by Kazunari Ninomiya (Arashi) and Shiro is voiced by actress Yu Aoi.
