One month to go until the release of the movie 『A Few Minutes of Yell』: 「Supporting the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Reconstruction」 【Kanazawa Event】

It is now one month until the release of the theatrical animation 『A Few Minutes of Yell』.The film is set in Kanazawa and Hakui cities in Ishikawa Prefecture, and part of the distribution revenue will be donated to support the Noto Peninsula earthquake recovery efforts. Since the theme of the film is “craftsmanship”, it is a film that should be seen by all animation fans.

『Love Live!』 Script written by Juki Hanada of

The original screenplay for 『A Few Minutes of Yell』 was written by 『Love Live! Sunshine!』 and 『Love Live! Super Star!』 and other well-known compositions by Juki Hanada.

Mr. Hanada has worked on the animations 『Kuragehime』, 『Kantai collection -Kankore-』, 『Hibikake! Euphonium』, as well as screenplays for anime series such as 『Slayers』, 『K-ON!』 and 『Natsume yujincho』.

『Love Live! Hasunosora Jogakuin School Idol Club』 is also set in the Kanazawa area, so I feel a connection that Juki Hanada wrote the script for 『A Few Minutes of Yell』.

Video production team 「Hurray!」 and Ishikawa Prefecture

「Hurray!」, the main team behind the film 『A Few Minutes of Yell』, consists of director 「Poplika」, assistant director 「Ohajiki」, and art director 「Magotsuki」.

The director, Poplika-san, is from Ishikawa Prefecture. In addition, the assistant director, Mr. Ojiki, said in his comment, 「I met my Hurray! colleagues at an art college in Ishikawa Prefecture, where I arrived」.

The main character Asaya Kanata (Hanae Natsuki) in 『A Few Minutes of Yell』 attends a high school in Ishikawa Prefecture, where he meets his new teacher Orie Yu (Ise Mariya) and the story begins. The idea for the setting of “A Few Minutes of Yell” may have been born from such a connection.

On February 20, we announced that we would donate a portion of the proceeds from the distribution of 『A Few Minutes of Yell』 to the 「Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024」 to support reconstruction efforts.
