Abraz, a band made up of former Checkers members, held their 『Abraz Mini-Sami Tour 2023』 in Kanazawa at the Kanazawa GOLD CREEK on Saturday, March 4.The band members were at Kanazawa station to refuel with MacDonald’s and left the live house quickly after the show. I wonder if they enjoyed Kanazawa’s gourmet food…
What is Abraz?
When the Checkers were at the height of their popularity, the instrumentalists played instrumental music as the Abraz. About nine years after the Checkers disbanded in 1992, the four members of the Abraz resumed their activities together. Currently, they are “Ambassador Takeuchi” (a.k.a. Kyou Takeuchi, former leader of the Checkers and guitarist), “Litre Fujii” (a.k.a. Fujii Naoyuki Fujii, saxophonist), and “Armadillo Dai-Doi” (a.k.a. Dai-Doi Yuji Dai-Doi, bassist). The group is also known as “Armadillo Odoi”.
Kyo Takeuchi posted a commemorative photo of the three of them together on Twitter, saying, 「Here I am, Kanazawa!」 and posted a commemorative photo of the three of them together.
Fans responded, 「Good work~♪ Kyou-san, were you able to sleep in the car?」 and 「I wonder if I will eat curry there this time」.
What they wanted to eat before the concert?

The Abraz were soon walking towards downtown Kanazawa after their live performance at the Kanazawa GOLD CREEK.
