The theme of this fifth installment is “a nostalgic retro coffee shop”, and the petit chocolate pie reproduces the taste of 「Higashide Coffee Shop’s」 homemade pudding, according to the company.

Why Higashide Coffee Shop has been loved for a long time
Mr. Higashide, the owner of 「Higashide Coffee Shop」, is one of those who have been fascinated by coffee since his student days. He trained at 「Chapek」, which follows in the footsteps of the famous Tokyo coffee shop 「Cafe Bach」.
They roast carefully selected green beans from all over the world a little every day in order to provide fresh beans at all times.
Each cup of coffee, carefully brewed with home-roasted coffee beans that have been hand-picked to remove any coffee beans that have not been roasted properly, is warming and truly flavorful.
The homemade pudding is made by the owner’s wife, who used to make sweets at an Italian restaurant. The pudding, made with fresh egg yolks, cream, milk, and plenty of vanilla beans, is not too sweet and goes well with coffee.
