The drama 『Blunt Color Chocolaville』 (MRO Hokuriku Broadcasting) aired on February 12 (Sat.) and 13 (Sun.), 2022. The story unravels Kanazawa’s chocolate culture, and was filmed around August 2021 at five confectionary stores and other locations.
One of them is 「Saint Nicolas」, a chocolate, confectionery, and cake specialty store with stores in Kanazawa and Nonoichi.
The story of the drama is that Kaori Amamiya (Risa Niigaki), a company employee, is actually a popular influencer on a confectionery blog and knows everything about confectionery stores in Kanazawa, and by chance is put in charge of a select chocolate store.
Risa Niigaki, who plays the lead role, is from Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, but actress Sachika Nitta, who is from Kanazawa City and was appointed ambassador for the 「Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Cultural Festival 2023」, was also in the cast.
