The first anniversary of the opening of Kanazawa’s hotel 「Korinkyo」 will be celebrated for two days only! 【Kanazawa Opening】

A two-day event – Autumn Rain Dawn – will be held at Kanazawa’s boutique hotel, 「Korinkyo」, which is celebrating its first year in business.

The dates are Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1, 2022.

A special event to open the guest rooms of Kanazawa’s hot hotel 「Korinkyo」 to the public for the first time!

Hotel 「Korinkyo」 is a notable boutique hotel located in the Korinbo area where Kenrokuen Garden and 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art Kanazawa are located.

To celebrate the first anniversary of its opening, the guest room area, which is usually open only to hotel guests, will be opened to the public for the first time.

The eve of the 「Evening Festival」 will be held on Friday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. A music festival will be held in the 「kárch」 restaurant area in the basement. The image of this evening is 「spending an ambient night in a peach paradise where you can get lost」.

They will serve a special menu for this night and cocktails using Korinkyo’s original drink 「iromoji」 (mitosaya herb garden distillery).

On this day, an urban peach paradise will appear in Kanazawa.

Invitation to guest room area, pop-up event and special exhibition and sale on October 1 (Sat.) only

The main event – Dawn of Autumn Fog – will be held in the guest room area, which will be open for one day only.

All guest rooms from B1F to 6F will be decorated with artworks and exhibits, and special sales and workshops will be held.

This beautiful vessel with a pale gradation like smoke in the evening mist is 「Ukiyo」 by Rumiko Yoshida, an artist living in Ishikawa Prefecture.
She was inspired to create it by an evening in the rainy city of Kanazawa.

Specially designed for Korinkyo with a platinum-colored border, this tea bowl is both stylish and glamorous.

Whether for guests or for yourself, tea time is sure to turn into a special moment.

To commemorate the first anniversary of the store’s opening, you can get wear that is not usually available. The unisex-inspired loungewear has a relaxed yet modern and cool design.
