「Kanazawa Castle Confectionary Story: Hyakumangoku Confectionary Exhibition 2022」 will be held until May 5 (Thursday, national holiday) 【Kanazawa Event】

The 「Kanazawa Castle Confectionary Story: Hyakumangoku Confectionary Exhibition 2022」 will be held at Kanazawa Castle Park from May 3 (Tuesday, national holiday) to May 5 (Thursday, national holiday), from 10:00 to 17:00.

「Kashi Hyakkogai」, where famous confectionery stores in the prefecture gather, is now open in Kanazawa Castle Park San-no-Maru-Kitaen. Visitors can purchase both Japanese and Western-style confections. In addition, visitors can receive instruction from craftspeople at the 「Japanese Confectionery Making Workshop」, and at the 「Kanazawa Castle Café」, Western confections from「Le Musee de Ashe」by patissier Hirohiro Tsujiguchi and coffee from「Dirt Coffee」will be served. Visitors will also receive「Ume-maru-kun Manju」as a gift for the first 100 visitors every day.

At the satellite site, 「Ishi no Hiroba/Big Tent」 of the 「Shinnoki-Geihinkan」, there will be stalls and events related to Children’s Day on May 4 and 5 from 10:00 to 17:00. There will be a corner selling candy and oak cakes, a Koinobori paper craft workshop, an origami headpiece making workshop, a picture-story show (only on the 4th), and much more. Everyone from adults to children will be able to fully enjoy the festival.

By bus to Kanazawa Castle, it is about a 5-minute walk from the 「Kenrokuen-shita/Kanazawa Castle」 bus stop on the Castle Town Kanazawa Shuttle bus, Hokuriku Railway route bus, and Nishi Nihon JR bus, and about a 5-minute walk from the 「Kenrokuen-shita」 stop on the Kanazawa Flat Bus Zaimoku route.
