Kazuo Morita, the “legendary artisan” who runs 「Komatsu Yasuke」, a sushi restaurant so popular that reservations are hard to come by, will celebrate his 92nd birthday in March 2023.

Chieko Kuroda took a one-day trip on a plane using frequent flyer miles this time, but her main purpose was to enjoy sushi at 「Komatsu Yasuke」. She also bought many souvenirs.

Chieko Kuroda and the Kanazawa Connection

Chieko Kuroda is a charismatic model who is still popular for her youthfulness at the age of 61, but she is also active as a TV personality, and in 2006 she was a Monday regular on 『Laugh It Up!』 (Fuji Television Network) in 2006.

She also played the role of Seiko Miyoshi, the mother of Shinichi Chiaki (Hiroshi Tamaki), one of the main characters in the TV drama 『Nodame Cantabile』, a live-action adaptation of a popular manga.

It seems that she had sushi at 「Komatsu Yasuke」 when she visited there for a photo shoot for the feature article 「Chieko Kuroda, Kanazawa only in summer」 in the September issue of 『ECLAT』.
