Call for groups to perform at the Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Cultural Festival 2023 『Festival of Wind Music』 【Kanazawa Event】

「One Year Ago Pre-event in Kaga」 was held on November 20 last year, and Ishikawa Prefecture-born actor Eisuke Shinoi (Kanazawa City), TV personality Sachika Nitta (Kanazawa City), and voice actor Takuatsu Terashima (Hakui Hodatsushimizu Town) became ambassadors for the 『Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Cultural Festival 2023』. The opening ceremony on October 15 is less than 300 days away.

Deadline for application for groups to perform at the 「Festival of Wind Music」 is approaching

The 『Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Cultural Festival 2023』 will be held for 44 days from the opening ceremony at the Ishikawa Sports Center on October 15 (Sunday) to the closing ceremony at the Ishikawa Music Hall on November 26 (Sunday).

Various events are planned during this period, and on Saturday, November 4, a 「Brass Band Festival」 will be held at the Kanazawa Kagekiza under the sub-theme of 「Come, Blow, Ingiratoshimashimashii, Ishikawamangoku Brass Band Picture Scroll」.

Performing groups will be selected by the Agency for Cultural Affairs after deliberation by the Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Cultural Festival 202 Executive Committee, and applications for groups wishing to perform (about six groups are planned) have been accepted since the first day of the year until Friday, April 7, 2012.

Last year, the 「Brass Band Festival」 was held on May 1. This year’s festival will be held as part of the 『Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Cultural Festival 2023』, so expectations are high for what kind of brass bands will perform.

Expect ambassadors to be on hand

Eisuke Shinoi is a well-known representative of Ishikawa Prefecture on 『The Secret Kenmin Show』 (Nippon Television Network Corporation).

Sachika Nitta, a member of HORIPRO, is a graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University’s Faculty of Law and runner-up in the 2020 「Miss Aoyama Contest」, and has worked as an actress and model for women’s magazines such as 『CanCam』.

Takuatsu Terashima has played a number of anime characters, but in the 『iDOLM@STER』 series, he made a splash as Toma Amagase.

We are looking forward to seeing how the three will perform as ambassadors of the 『Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Cultural Festival 2023』 in the future.

Incidentally, Kyogen performer Mansai Nomura and Ishikawa-born actress Misato Tanaka held a talk show at the pre-event two years ago.
