On Saturday, December 31, 『Countdown Concert 2022-2023』, commemorating the 130th anniversary of Hokkoku Shimbun, was held at Ishikawa Prefectural Music Hall. Performers included Masahiko Kondo, Nanase Aikawa, violinist Ririko Takagi, singer Kaya, and geiko from the town of Shukei-cho. The performance was accompanied by a magnificent performance by the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, conducted by Chosei Komatsu.
According to Nanase Aikawa’s blog, this was surprisingly the first time she sang with an orchestra in the background.
『Luka』, who traveled to Cowcon to enjoy the concert, commented on Instagram that Nanase Aikawa’s performance 「was different from usual, as she sang with an orchestra, but I was very impressed with the depth of sound in every song I heard with the orchestra」.
「There were also comments from Misato Tanaka and Minami Hamabe, who appeared in a commercial for Hokkoku Shimbun, and VTR appearances from Kanpei Hazama and Shingo Katori,」 said Luka.
New song 『Musu de Hiraite』 was also performed
Nanase Aikawa seems to have charmed the audience by singing the lead song 『Musu de Hiraite』 (delivered on December 21, 2022), which is included in her upcoming album 『Nakaima』 to be released on January 25, 2023.
