Chieko Asahina, a veteran fortune teller living in Kanazawa City, drew nationwide attention for her toothless appraisal of Masahiro Matsuoka, Maika Yamamoto, and Haruna Kondo (Harisenbon).

A word to Masahiro Matsuoka

On the July 5 broadcast of『TOKIO Kakeru SP TOKITABI Comfort Trip in Kanazawa』(Fuji Television Network), Masahiro Matsuoka, Maika Yamamoto, and Haruna Kondo visited Chieko Asahina, who has about half a century of experience in fortune telling, as a fortune-telling team.

Asahina-san seemed happy to be able to tell the fortunes of these popular personalities, but she reminded them that 「I might say some harsh things」. For Kondo, she would say, 「Your work luck is great, so marriage is…」 and so on, up and down. To Yamamoto, she said, 「My current popularity is thanks to the people around me」. You shouldn’t forget to be thankful,” she said to Yamamoto like a mother.

Incidentally, Ms. Asahina specializes in appraisals based on family names, and when she saw the family name of 「Masahiro Matsuoka」, she exclaimed, 「Wow, someone must have thought of that」.

She told Matsuoka, 「Don’t be too much of a bossy guy」. But this was Asahina’s gentle advice to Matsuoka, who is too caring, 「Don’t work too hard, but in moderation」.

In fact, he did not stop at fortune-telling, but also operated a rental kimono store 「Koi Mirai」 in Kanazawa City.

In December 2017, 「Koi Mirei」 held 「Kimono Mix」, a marriage activity event in which participants wore kimonos to meet people. At the time, this was reported as 「planned by Chieko Asahina, 73」, a representative of the company.

Unfortunately, however, 「Koi Mirei」 closed its doors in November 2018.

In the 『Chieko Asahina koimirai Instagram』, the event was held at the time of the marriage activity event, but it seems that it was not posted by Chieko Asahina herself, but by someone related (a relative?) to 「Koi Mirei」 and was operated by someone else. It seems to be operated by “koimirai”.
