Kyogen actor and kyogen performer Mansai Nomura played the role of Eisuke Mochizuki, the husband of Misato Tanaka in the NHK television series 『Aguri』, in which she played the heroine, Aguri. 『Aguri』 began airing in April 1997, when Tanaka Misato was around 20 years old.

Tanaka Misato also dubbed the Japanese voice for Choi Ji-woo, who played the heroine Jung Yu-jin in the Korean drama 『Winter Sonata』, which triggered the Yon-sama boom.
He also starred in the films 『Ito』 (Kinshiro Ogino, 2018) and 『Godzilla x Megaguirus G Annihilation Operation』 (2000), 『The Bridge Over Tomorrow: 1989 Memories』 (Takafumi Ota, 2018) and the stage 『Nekketsu! Bravan Shoujo』 (2017) and 『Adabana ni Mizuyari』 (2021), and has appeared in a variety of other productions.
