Live broadcast of the 「5G Drone Show」, a pre-event of the 「Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival」 【Kanazawa Event】

As a pre-event of the 「Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival」, held for the first time in three years, the 「5G Drone Show」 will be presented on June 2 (Thursday) at Kanazawa Castle Park.

「The 5G Drone Show」 will be held at Kanazawa Castle Park (Shinmaru Plaza) from 8:15pm to 8:25pm. (Greetings and explanation of the drone show will be given at 8:00 p.m.). Although the call for participation from the spectator seats has been closed, live-streaming will be conducted on the day of the show and can be viewed on the special website.

The show features 64 drones projecting ume-hari-mon, gold leaf, and other light animations typical of Kanazawa into the night sky to the accompaniment of 「Japanese」 music. (Izumino, Kanazawa), which is involved in the planning, development, and operation of Japan’s first drone show, will be in charge of the production.

The 「Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival」 is held in honor of Lord Toshiie Maeda, who entered Kanazawa Castle on June 14, 1583 and laid the foundation of Kaga Hyakumangoku. It is going to be a very romantic 10 minutes of Kanazawa’s historical and traditional places and motifs expressed with the latest technology.
