This is a room in the back of the gallery cafe 「HIMITO」 in Kanazawa City. The cotton wool hanging from the ceiling is all real, creating a photogenic landscape of cotton wool all over the place.
This store became a hot topic due to the beautiful photos posted by photographer Hira Yui (@yuiphoto2), and in addition to the cotton wool display, the space display using dried flowers and citrus peels is also very attractive.
Owned by peel artist (artist who uses peels of fruits and vegetables as materials) Harumitsu Saida (@shunkosaida), HIMITO’s interior is like being lost in the world of Ghibli.
You can take pictures and take your time to appreciate the beautiful store that you can’t help but admire.
You can also experience peel art while biting into an orange. Advance reservations are required and the experience costs 4,500 yen. You can make a lantern with the peel while eating the orange, and take a photo of your own original work of art to take home!
