「Kenrokutei」 in Kanazawa’s Kenrokuen reopens with a café! 【Kanazawa Opening】

Kanazawa City is famous for Kenrokuen, and 「Kenrokutei」, a café attached to Kenrokuen, will reopen.

The café portion of the building will pre-open on September 10.

I am now looking forward to eating sweets while enjoying the beautiful view of Kenrokuen.

Amazing Cafe Menu at 「Kenrokutei」 in Kanazawa’s Kenrokuen

「Kenrokutei」 is a place where you can enjoy delicious tea and sweets while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Not only is the location great, but the café menu is incredible.

The authentic lineup includes Kenroku Cola, a 「Kenroku-tei」 original blend of sansho , shiso leaves, and 13 spices; Okunoto Jishio Cider made with fried beach shio from Suzu; and a rich stick tea latte using Hyakumangoku Kaga stick tea from the Kanazawa Kamibayashi Tea Shop.

Here are some of the menu items.

【Set Menu】

• Fresh confectionery set: drink + fresh confectionery
• Seasonal Dorayaki Set – Drink + Fruit Dorayaki

【tea】

• Authentic matcha latte made with Manjushi-gashi
• Rich stick tea latte made with Hyakumangoku Kaga stick tea
• Sencha with sweets
• Stick tea (with sweets)

【juice】

• Kenroku Cola, a blend of original sansho , shiso leaves, and 13 spices
• Okunoto Jishio Cider with a refreshing adult taste made with fried beach salt from Suzu
• Kanazawa yuzu soda made with Kanazawa yuzu juice and honey from Yamagishi Apiary

It is also a great place to take a break and refresh yourself in Kanazawa. A ryotei restaurant and a teahouse where you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine are scheduled to open in October.
