「Monochrome CHAYA」, which opened near Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa City, is a space unified in black and white that looks like contemporary art.
Japanese umbrellas and small tatami mats decorate the first floor.
Once inside, it is as if you have entered a two-dimensional manga world.
The interior of the restaurant is a 50-year-old former electronics store and residence that has been renovated.
After painting the entire space in white, the ceiling and pillars were trimmed with black pens.
