Talk about wanting to eat oden at 「Kuroyuri」 when you go to Kanazawa Station in Kinoshinbocho 【Kanazawa Gourmet】

Oden is one of the most popular winter foods. It’s great on a cold day because it warms you up from the core!

Kanazawa people love oden anyway, and the consumption of oden is the highest in Japan.

There are lots of oden restaurants, but when I go to the station, I still want to eat at 「Kuroyuri」.

The fish and shellfish broth-based soup is irresistible

Kanazawa oden is characterized by its Kyoto-style broth and the use of ingredients not found outside of Ishikawa, such as 「bai gai」, fish paste「fukashi」 and 「kuruma-fu」.

Kuroyuri’s soup is a secret recipe that has been kept for over 50 years since the establishment of the restaurant. The ingredients are well seasoned and really tasty.

The 「crab mask」, which is a mixture of Kobako crab meat, inner and outer eggs, and stuffed into the shell, is also unique to Kanazawa. It is a very luxurious ingredient. I love it.

I’ll introduce you to the store, too –

Calm and serene exterior and interior

Kuroyuri has a beautiful exterior and a great atmosphere inside. It makes me feel at home.

It is good that there are many types of seating: counter, table, and small. The counter has a partition and the width is wide so you don’t have to worry so much even if you are alone.

They have alcohol, but they also have set meals, and if you want, many people get water and just eat oden.

They’re keeping the partitions tight here
Happy to eat authentic oden at the station

I like the fact that Kuroyuri’s oden is available for takeout. Manbou is also out and I’ll enjoy it at home until Corona settles down a bit more.
