Jazz singer akiko and ukulele player Hiroyuki Tominaga will hold a live concert at 「Mokkiriya」, a coffee shop and live music venue in Kanazawa. With Okinawan singer-songwriter G.Yoko (who lives on Ishigaki Island) as a guest, it will be a wonderful time. akiko will sing that song that she loves, I wonder if she will sing it.

The relationship between akiko and Hiroyuki Tominaga
akiko released the album 『Ukulele Lady』 in 2021, the 20th anniversary of her debut. It seems that she started playing the ukulele about 5 years ago from that time, and this is a work in which she plays the ukulele very well.
The response was so positive that the following year, 『Ukulele Lady 2』 was released. For the second volume, ukulele player Hiroyuki Tominaga also participated in some of the songs. Since then, akiko and Tominaga have been holding collaborative ukulele-playing live performances.

akiko’s relationship with Sinaroke
The rock band SHEENA & THE ROKKETS was loved overseas as well, and akiko seems to have been quite influenced by them.
akiko released 『HIT PARADE -LONDON NITE Tribute-』 in 2009, an album of covers of old hits such as 「You Really Got Me/The Kinks」, 「Tragedy of a Radio Star/The Buggles」 and 「Rock Balloon is 99/Nena」, but the last song on the album is 「You May Dream/ Sheena & The Rockets」.
In August 2021, he chose SHEENA & THE ROKKETS for the serial 『Sound is as the world goes by』 in Tower Records’ free paper bounce, and wrote about 「Sheena-san and Ayukawa-san’s precious memories」.

Incidentally, he says that he and Hiroyuki Tominaga rarely decide on songs in advance, but rather 「listen to requests from the audience and play」 them out of the blue.
I would love to see you play 『You May Dream』 at this concert.
