Kenrokuen is one of the most famous sightseeing spots in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, but when asked about its true charms, it may not be easy to answer immediately. In an effort to let people know about the various attractions, the Kenrokuen Tourist Association recently produced a video titled 「Let’s Find Insta-Spots in Kenrokuen」. Its navigator, Rie Matsuoka, is also a charming person.
What is the campaign 「Insta-Kanazawa」?

This is a great campaign in which visitors can purchase a 「Kenrokuen Plus One Ticket」 and receive a 500-yen gift certificate for use at Kenrokuen’s tea stores and surrounding facilities, but we recommend that you take advantage of this campaign as early as possible, as it is limited to the first 2,000 visitors.
The campaign is called 「Insta-Kanazawa」, and the YouTube 「Kenrokuen」 channel has released a video titled 「【Insta-Kanazawa】 Kanazawa Sightseeing for Insta-Enjoyment: Find the Best Insta-Enjoyment Points at Kenrokuen and Kanazawa Castle Park! VOL1』 is now available on the 「Kenrokuen」 channel.
Navigator Rie Matsuoka, two Instagirls, and Mr. Okada of the Kenrokuen Tourist Association filmed a location search for Insta-spots in Kenrokuen, and it is said that crowds of people gathered outside the frame of the camera for the shoot.
What kind of person is Rie Matsuoka, radio personality painter?
Rie Matsuoka says on her Instagram profile page, 「I make radio and art in Kanazawa. My partner is mushroom boy!」 She introduces herself as “Rie Matsuoka,” and lists her 「Works」 as follows.

According to Radio Kansai’s 『Katsura Harucho no Choucho Knot』 in which Matsuoka appeared as a guest on September 21, 2019, he started calling himself a painter in 2018 when he became independent from his FM Ishikawa personality (announcer).
He said about the theme of his paintings, 「There are various personalities among human beings, and I want to express those multiple personalities in my paintings」.
