May is 「Fair Trade Month」 to promote fair trade, and 「Kanazawa Fair Trade Festa 2022」 will be held on Saturday, May 28, at the plaza in front of Kanazawa City Hall.
As many as 42 organizations will exhibit their fair trade bazaars at the 「Kanazawa Fair Trade Festa 2022」. A wide variety of organizations will participate, including fair trade organizations, social welfare corporations, companies, and schools. In addition to the sale of food, sundries, clothing, and a variety of other products, workshops and other events will also be held.
In addition, a fair trade stage will be held. Music such as chikamori taiko and shinobue flute, a fair trade ethical fashion show, and a fair trade quiz will be presented.
Not only can people who are interested in fair trade enjoy the event, but also those who have not been familiar with the term 「fair trade」 will have the opportunity to become familiar with and deepen their understanding of it by touching actual products, participating in workshops, and watching the stage.
