What is the mascot character Toshibo?
Toshibo, the mascot character, was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Ishikawa Regional Cooperation Headquarters of the Self-Defense Forces. The character’s motif is Lord Maeda Toshiie of Kaga Hyakumangoku, and he wears a 「Namazu Kabuto」 as his distinctive feature.
According to a tweet on the official account of the Self-Defense Forces Ishikawa Regional Cooperation Headquarters, there will be a 「New Year – Self-Defense Forces Fair 2023」 at Kanazawa Forus on January 21 (Sat) and 22 (Sun).
The icon of Toshibo says 「We are waiting for you on the 6th floor with Self-Defense Forces goods from the bottom of our hearts! Everyone… come… right?」 He is calling out to you.
