Nishikanazawa Shoujo-dan, an idol group based in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, released a new CD 『GO GO OG3』, a cheering song for uncles, on October 30. The music video is enlivened by the unexpected appearance of Imoarai-zaka Section Chief.
Perfect casting for an uncle’s cheerleader song
It has been one year and four months since their last album 『Yumemiso』 (June 2021), which was distributed nationwide for the first time toward the future when the Corona disaster will be resolved. After a long absence, the single 『GO GO OG3』 is a groovy pop tune that will cheer up even your uncle.
Imoarai-zaka Kakaricho, who appears in the music video, is a comedian who excels at a sharp dance that is hard to imagine from his big body with a belly. He used to be popular in 『R-1 Guranpuri 2008』, 『Entai no Kamisama』, 『Enta no Kamisama』, and so on.
He is also known as an actor and choreographer, and recently choreographed the second single of the Halo Pro idol group BEYOOOOONDS, 『Konna Hazu Janakatta!』 (March 2021), which he choreographed.
Some people who saw the music video for 『GO GO OG3』 commented, 「I didn’t expect Imoarai-zaka Kakaricho! He’s perfect for GO GO OG3. The way they dance together at the end is great」 and 「He fits the image of the song perfectly, and I can’t thank him enough for accepting the offer to appear in the video」.
Nishi-Kanazawa Girls Troupe performs regularly in November
The Nishikanazawa Girls’ Troupe has its own theater, 「TEATRO Nishikanazawa」, in front of Nishikanazawa Station, next to Kanazawa Station, and contributes to the Nishikanazawa shopping district, to which the theater belongs, by performing at the Nishikanazawa Prince Road Shopping Center Festival.
On November 5 (Sat), 「《First half of November Regular Performance》 Nishikanazawa Shoujo-dan Live」 and on November 19 (Sat), 「《Second half of November Regular Performance》 Nishikanazawa Shoujo-dan Live」 will be held at TEATRO Nishikanazawa.
On November 23 (Wed., holiday), there will be a unit showdown between the members of 「Littly vs BOMB⁴ BOMBER」. The unit members will be Littly (Rana / Kita Airi) and BOMB⁴ BOMBER (Mahiru Tatsumi / Omotekaho / Sayuki Kano / Asuka Nakayama).
