Yumi Matsutoya has been serving as Ishikawa Prefecture Tourism Brand Producer since 2015. She was appointed to this position because of her appearance on a local radio program in Ishikawa Prefecture when she was not yet a big seller. She has been traveling around the prefecture in a radio car since her debut.
At the time, he composed the music for 『Hyakuman-san Kouta』, a song created by the prefectural government for the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet train service, and 『Hana Kiko』, which she says was inspired by his favorite city, Kanazawa, was created while walking around the Asano River, which runs through the Kanazawa urban area.
