It is mid-March before I know it, and April will bring the cherry blossom season.
Kenrokuen will be illuminated free of charge in conjunction with the blooming of the flowers.
The lights look good on the cherry blossoms
The best time to view the cherry blossoms is usually from early to late April. About 40 species of cherry trees, including higan cherry, someiyoshino, and yamazakura, brightly color the park.
Among them, the Kenrokuen kumagai and Kenrokuen kikuzakura in late April are rare varieties, so look for them if you visit during this time!
