Three weeks have passed since the 『Pokemon x Crafts Exhibition: Discovering Beauty and Craftsmanship』 opened at the National Crafts Museum in Kanazawa on March 21, featuring works by 20 artists, from living national treasures to up-and-coming artists, who have interpreted the appeal of Pokemon in their own ways. The depth of the 『Pokemon x Crafts』 exhibition can be seen just by looking at the impressions tweeted by visitors to the exhibition.

Inspired by the 「Pikachu no Mori」 (1997), episode 39 of the 『Pokémon』 anime series, it represents Pikachu’s adorable behavior, and is inspired by 「alpine plants」 such as sheep’s tooth and vine grass that would grow in Pikachu’s habitat. Four types of lace were embroidered based on sketches and cutouts. The total number of lace ribbons used is said to be about 900.

Sanders is a Shinka Pokémon Eevee evolved from a Normal type, or Minari Pokémon. The Ho-ono Pokémon from which Eevee evolved is Booster.

Since the 『Pokémon x Crafts』 exhibition also exhibited works expressing boosters, the Twitter account of the 『【Official】 Project Eevee (Continued)』 tweeted, 「Take a closer look at Eevee…!
You can see the parts of the Pokémon’s type, etc. Thunders is made of parts of a thunderbolt… It’s wonderful to feel the wonder of evolution!」 He posted a photo.

Just by looking at the photo, she said, 「I’m surprised at how delicately made it is! The nose and mouth are cute, and the eyes are realistic and beautiful」 and 「Kids will cry」
