In the tweet, she recalled the time of the opening of the Shinkansen, saying, 「I still remember the amazing heat of Kanazawa on that day as if it were yesterday」.
Hokuriku Idol Club will perform at the extension event
Hokuriku Idol Club is based in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The members celebrated the 8th anniversary of the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Kanazawa on SNS, 「And only one year to go until the Fukui-Tsuruga extension!」 and their expectations were growing.
On Saturday, March 18, they are scheduled to perform at the 『Hokuriku Shinkansen Extension 1 Year Ago Event』.
The Hokuriku Shinkansen line (Kanazawa to Tsuruga) will be extended and opened in about a year, and JR West plans to discontinue the Hokuriku line between Kanazawa (Ishikawa prefecture) and Tsuruga (Fukui prefecture) accordingly, and the Limited Express Thunderbird and Limited Express Shirasagi will be operated to Tsuruga station in Fukui prefecture, and it is expected that passengers will not be able to board from Kanazawa station until next spring.
