From June 1 to August 31, three summer lunch menus will be available at the 「Marais d’Or」 restaurant on the second floor of the Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel in Korinbo. The 「Summer 2022 Lunch Menu」 consists of three dishes: 「Temari Gozen,」 「Mare Moco」, and 「Linguine with Lobster」. Due to many requests from customers, the lunch offerings in the gozen style are being revived.
「Temari Gozen」, 「Maremoco」, 「Lobster Linguine」, and three types of 「Summer 2022 Lunch Menu」.
The 「Temari Gozen」 (4,200 yen, single item 3,500 yen) includes grilled fish, tempura, Japanese beef steak, steamed dish, sashimi, vinegared dish, simmered dish, miso soup with Kaga miso, and more. 「Aimaze」, a traditional simmered dish often eaten in the Noto region, chilled oden-style 「summer vegetables cooked together」, untono (sea urchin) tofu, and nuta-dare (a type of tofu with a paste) can be enjoyed in a gozen style. The tableware is decorated with gold leaf, known as “ancient foil,” and is placed on top of the rice.
The 「Mare Moco」 (3,000 yen) is a Mare D’Or-style rendition of the Hawaiian dish 「Loco Moco」. Noto beef hamburger steak, three kinds of cheese (gruyere, mozzarella, and cheddar), Noto egg, and avocado are topped on rice made from Ishikawa hyakuman grain, and cooked hot in a stone oven.
「Lobster linguine」 (3,000 yen) is a pasta dish using a whole lobster. The linguine noodles are flat and the americaine sauce is well mixed in, allowing the customers to enjoy the aroma and flavor of the lobster.
Except for the 「Temari Gozen」 single dish of 3,500 yen, the 「Summer 2022 Lunch Menu」 soup, salad bar, and dessert corner are available.
