「Ishikawa-san and the Bread Fest」 will be held for three days from April 15 (Fri.) to 17 (Sun.) at Shiinoki-ranchi, where popular bakeries from all over Japan will gather.
Popular bakeries from inside and outside of the prefecture will gather!
「Bread Fest」is a 「festival for bread lovers by bread lovers」 that began in Yokohama in 2016. This year’s event is the first to be held in Hokuriku, and will be held in cooperation with「Ishikawa TV」.
Twenty-one bakeries will be participating in the event. In addition to many popular stores from outside the prefecture, such as Nagasaki’s「Kiyoka Morimoto」and「Shizuoka’s Izu-Kogen Fromage Bakery Marble Coco.」,「Bakery & Cafe Maple House」and「Saka no Ue Bakery」, the pride of Kanazawa, will also participate.

Bread made with Ishikawa specialties from a one-star French restaurant in Kanazawa and a baker’s circle
In conjunction with this event, Mr. Norio Kawamoto, chef and owner of LA PREEMINENCE, a one-star French restaurant in Kanazawa, Ms. Yoshida, announcer of Ishikawa TV, and 10 「pansierges」 who passed the 「pansierge test」 made bread using 「Ishikawa stick tea」 and 「Kanazawa Yuoke Yuzu」.
At the festival, two breads, 「Ishikawa Bocha Bread」 and 「Kanazawa Yuoke Yuzu and White Chocolate Bread」, will be combined and sold in advance as 「Luxury Bread Set to Enjoy the Scent of Ishikawa」. The price is 2,480 yen. Pre-order sales have ended, but a limited quantity will be available on the day of the event as well.
All bakery breads will be available while supplies last. You should check the bread you are looking for as soon as possible.
Access to the venue
To get to Shi-no-no-Rokuchi (Shi-no-Geihinkan), take bus No. 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, or 11 from JR Kanazawa Station Bus Terminal at the East Exit of JR Kanazawa Station, or No. 5 from Kanazawa Station West Exit, get off at 「Korinbo (in front of Atrio)」 and walk 5 minutes. If you come by car, the 「Shininoki-Geihinkan parking lot」 is convenient (discount available).
