As the general registration for \u300eKanazawa Marathon 2023\u300f (scheduled to be held on October 29) will start on Friday, April 14, Kazutomo Yasue, a member of the Kanazawa Marathon Organizing Committee, appeared live on the radio program \u300eBakusho Mondai no Nichiyo Sunday\u300f (TBS Radio) on March 19. When he talked about the appeal of the marathon, the radio personalities Bakusho Mondai and &#8220;Erika-sama&#8221; were surprised to hear the unexpected details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"468\" src=\"https:\/\/kanazawa.local-now.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/kanazawamarathon_nichioyousunday_20230320-1024x468.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7230\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">In the studio of \u300eBakusho Mondai no Sunday Sunday\u300f (Image from \u300eKanazawa Marathon \u3010Official\u3011\u300f Instagram)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Tabemasshi Station?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to water stations, the Kanazawa Marathon will also have \u300cTabemasshi Stations\u300d at six locations along the course that will serve food for runners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When announcer Erika Yamamoto, aka &#8220;Erika-sama,&#8221; heard that participants could run while eating everything from rice crackers, Japanese sweets, and sweets to curry from Kanazawa, Ishikawa, she couldn&#8217;t help but say, \u300cSounds fun!\u300d Hikaru Ota groaned, \u300cIt&#8217;s a full marathon, isn&#8217;t it?\u300d Yuji Tanaka nodded his head, saying, \u300cIt&#8217;s good to compete for real time, but it&#8217;s also good to have fun while running\u300d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/kanazawa.local-now.jp\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/yamamotoerikaana_tbs_20230320-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7231\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Erika Yamamoto, aka &#8220;Erika-sama&#8221; (Image from \u300eTBS Announcer Official Instagram\u300f)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Kazutomo Yasue, the event was planned with a service spirit: \u300cSo we are giving the runners a boost of energy by providing them with nutritional supplements\u300d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incidentally, the sponsors provided Kanazawa sets as gifts for listeners, including Matsuya&#8217;s Toriyasai Miso and Gogo Curry pouches, JA Kanazawa City&#8217;s Goroshima Kintoki sweet potato Yokan, Hokuriku Achievements&#8217; Shiroebi Beaver, and Ishikawa&#8217;s rice, Hikuman Grain.
