About nine years after the Checkers disbanded in 1992, the four members of the Abraz resumed their activities together. Currently, they are &#8220;Ambassador Takeuchi&#8221; (a.k.a. Kyou Takeuchi, former leader of the Checkers and guitarist), &#8220;Litre Fujii&#8221; (a.k.a. Fujii Naoyuki Fujii, saxophonist), and &#8220;Armadillo Dai-Doi&#8221; (a.k.a. Dai-Doi Yuji Dai-Doi, bassist).
