\u300cMatsunoyu\u300d, a public bathhouse that was popular in Kanazawa Changmachi for over 70 years and closed down in 2020, will be revived.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will open on Saturday, November 26, 2022.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

November 26th is \u300cGood Bath Day\u300d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a day that is well worded and will be a long-awaited day for public bathhouse fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new \u300cMatsu no Yu\u300d has a full range of saunas.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u300cMatsunoyu\u300d had gone out of business after the previous owner fell ill, but a Tokyo-based company, \u300cA.G. Interbridge Corporation\u300d, which is in the business of townhouse restoration, purchased the property and revived it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new \u300cMatsunoyu\u300d has a sauna that has been expanded to 1.5 times the space of the previous one.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can be used by a maximum of about 8 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, a new terrace has been added to the sauna for a relaxing rest. The sauna is also equipped with a terrace to allow guests to take a rest and enjoy the open air.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior retains the old stained glass windows, and you are greeted by Kutani Yaki tiles, one by one, hand-painted by craftsmen, on Mt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u300cMatsunoyu\u300d public bathhouse is not the only one to open this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2nd floor portion will be open as a cafe & work lounge.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can have tea after a public bath, or take a bath after work in the working space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 3rd to 6th floors can be used as tenants or residences for long-term stays, making the complex a place of relaxation for Kanazawa citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
