The \u300eKanazawa Machizukuri Student Conference<\/strong>\u300f, a student organization that works with Kanazawa City to enliven the “academic city” of Kanazawa, will hold the \u300eMachinaka Student Festival<\/strong>\u300f at Kikura-cho Square again this year.This is an event that not only students but also children and adults can enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u300eMachinaka Student Festival\u300f was planned by the Kanazawa Machizukuri Student Conference after more than half a year of meetings. This year, 10 groups will participate in stage events and food stalls. Details have yet to be announced, so let’s take a look back at last year’s event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, the Student Council held a stage event, \u300cOnly Women’s Clothing Can Win! \u300d\u300cWe will exorcise your grievances!\u300d and \u300cIt’s dense! Bingo\u300d, a cappella singing by Seiryo University’s Music Circle, and a performance by Kanazawa University’s JMC juggling magic circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the \u300cStudent Festival Take-out Stall\u300d and other stalls from the Kikura-machi shopping street offered a variety of gourmet delights from yakitori, Kanazawa oden, European cuisine, taverns to bars. Mothers were also relieved to know that there was yo-yo fishing and balloons for children to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the Kanazawa City Planning Student Conference like?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Kanazawa City Planning Student Council was established in June 2010 in Kanazawa City as a student organization that will serve as the mother body to promote Kanazawa as a student town.<\/a> Kanazawa is known as the site of the \u300cFourth Higher Junior High School\u300d, one of the five old high schools established in the five school districts in Japan during the Meiji Era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Student Council is working to revive Kanazawa as the “student town” that Kanazawa City aims to be by attracting many students to the city. The \u300eMachinaka Student Festival\u300f is planned and operated with the aim of \u300ccreating a lively atmosphere in the town and creating connections with local residents\u300d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would like to respond to the hard work of the students who hold many other meetings to realize various projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
