\u300cIshikawa-san and the Bread Fest\u300d will be held for three days from April 15 (Fri.) to 17 (Sun.) at Shiinoki-ranchi, where popular bakeries from all over Japan will gather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u300cBread Fest<\/a>\u300dis a \u300cfestival for bread lovers by bread lovers\u300d that began in Yokohama in 2016. This year’s event is the first to be held in Hokuriku, and will be held in cooperation with\u300cIshikawa TV<\/a>\u300d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twenty-one bakeries will be participating in the event. In addition to many popular stores from outside the prefecture, such as Nagasaki’s\u300cKiyoka Morimoto<\/a>\u300dand\u300cShizuoka’s Izu-Kogen Fromage Bakery Marble Coco.<\/a>\u300d,\u300cBakery & Cafe Maple House<\/a>\u300dand\u300cSaka no Ue Bakery<\/a>\u300d, the pride of Kanazawa, will also participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conjunction with this event, Mr. Norio Kawamoto, chef and owner of LA PREEMINENCE, a one-star French restaurant in Kanazawa, Ms. Yoshida, announcer of Ishikawa TV, and 10 \u300cpansierges\u300d who passed the \u300cpansierge test\u300d made bread using \u300cIshikawa stick tea\u300d and \u300cKanazawa Yuoke Yuzu\u300d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the festival, two breads, \u300cIshikawa Bocha Bread\u300d and \u300cKanazawa Yuoke Yuzu and White Chocolate Bread\u300d, will be combined and sold in advance as \u300cLuxury Bread Set to Enjoy the Scent of Ishikawa\u300d. The price is 2,480 yen. Pre-order sales have ended, but a limited quantity will be available on the day of the event as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to the venue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To get to Shi-no-no-Rokuchi (Shi-no-Geihinkan), take bus No. 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, or 11 from JR Kanazawa Station Bus Terminal at the East Exit of JR Kanazawa Station, or No. 5 from Kanazawa Station West Exit, get off at \u300cKorinbo (in front of Atrio)\u300d and walk 5 minutes. If you come by car, the \u300cShininoki-Geihinkan parking lot\u300d is convenient (discount available).<\/p>\n\n\n
